It's often said that the more things change, the more they stay the same, and this really rings true with regards to stereo receivers. Even though multi-media technology never stops changing, the importance of owning one has remained the same. In this short review, we'll be looking at the TX-8255 model from Onkyo.
If you've never heard of Onkyo, then you should perhaps familiarize yourself with the brand because the company has already been going for more than 60 years. So, how did it all start? Onkyo marketed its first product in 1946. That first product was a phonograph pickup called the CP-1000 with a price tag of .50, and of course it represented the birth of a company that would one day end up being a leader in the field of audio-video equipment.

This is perhaps the only drawback of this stereo receiver, in that it isn't a high-end unit.
The vast majority of customers have been pleased with all the Onkyo features, and reasonable the unit's price tag. To be honest, I doubt you'll be able to find many stereo receivers that deliver better value, than this. If you're looking for a good quality stereo receiver, and one which is affordable, then you should definitely consider the Onkyo TX-8255.
